Body of drowned NDA cadet recovered
Pune, Aug 10 (UNI) The body of one of the two National Defence Academy (NDA) cadets, A V Bisaria who was swept away during a navigation and map reading training camp in the Khadakwasla dam near Pune was recovered today.
Police said the body was found after four days search operation by the NDA who did not allow the civilian authorities to participate in the entire exercise.
It may be recalled that Bisaria and Varma were drowned at Donje village in a flash flood on Monday.
The body of the cadet has been sent for a post-mortem to the Government-run Sassoon hospital. The cadet's relatives has arrived from their native town in Uttar Pradesh to claim the body, police said.
Meanwhile the NDA authority is continuing the search for the body of another cadet Avinav Varma.
