Bhullar, Lahiri share lead at Golden Greens Amateur

Gurgaon, Aug 10 (UNI) Anirban Lahiri brought in a card of two-under 70 to share the lead with Gaganjeet Bhullar at two-under 214 on the third day of the Royal Challenge Golden Greens Amateur Golf tournament here today.

Overnight leader Bhullar shot a one-under 71. Manav Jaini and Gagan Verma were both tied for third position with a three-day tally of three-over 219. Jaini shot a level par 72, while Gagan Verma shot a one over 73.

Joseph Chakola, who was placed third overnight, shot a three over 75 to slip to fifth position with a tally of 220. Himmat Rai bounced back with a round of one-over 73 to occupy the sixth position at 222.

Three-time Sri Lankan Amateur winner Simarjeet Singh managed a round of six over 78 to occupy the seventh place with Shaurya Singh at 224. Shaurya shot a five over 77.

Scores (after 54 holes): 214 Anirban Lahiri, Gaganjeet Bhullar, 219 Manav Jaini, Gagan Verma, 220 Joseph Chakola, 222 Himmat Rai, 224 Simarjeet Singh.
