BAMS paper leaks again, University cancels all exams
Hardwar, Aug 10 (UNI) All papers of the ongoing examinations of the first and the second professionals of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Science (BAMS) under HNB University Garhwal, Srinagar was cancelled today.
Sources said all examinations of the two professionals of the Bachelor degree of Ayurveda, which were going on in the State Gurukul Ayurvedic Medical College Hardwar, the State Rishikul Ayurvedic Medical College Hardwar and the Uttaranchal Ayurvedic Medical College, Dehradun, were cancelled as soon as report regarding the leakage was confirmed.
Convener of the flying squad of the University Dr S K Batra said the report that the paper on Hygiene of the second professional to be held today had been leaked last night was found correct. Earlier the flying squad had confirmed that the paper on Physiology of the first professional, to be held on August eight had also been leaked the night before the examinations.
Registrar of the University C S Mehta told UNI that the leakage was a serious matter and a committee comprising Dr R D Upadhayay, Dr S K Batra and Dr Ashok Misra, all of S M J N College Hardwar, had been appointed to conduct preliminary investigations.
''Very soon the University will appoint a high level committee to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the matter to find out if the papers were leaked at the university level, at the level of the examination centres or at the level of the paper setters,'' Mr Mehta added.
