Bag on Mumbai-bound train creates panic
Varanasi, Aug 10 (UNI) The recovery of a polythene bag aboard the Mumbai-bound Mahanagari Express created panic at the Varanasi Cantonment railway station here today.
On being checked, it was found the bag contained petrol, sources added.
Railway Police said panic gripped the railway station which was rocked by a powerful blast on March 7, after the bag was spotted lying in the parcel van.
At least 18 people were killed and 100 others wounded in two powerful blasts that rocked the Sankatmochan temple and Varanasi Cantonment railway station within a span of 15 minutes on March 7.
