Amarinder distances himself from brother-in-law, Natwar
Ludhiana, Aug 10 (UNI) Distancing himself from his brother-in-law and former External Affairs minister Natwar Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today denied that he was playing a mediators role in the ''Natwar Singh affair''.
'' I am not mediating in the Natwar affair'', he told mediapersons here.
''Ever since this controversy erupted , I have neither met Mr Natwar Singh nor have I met the Prime Minister nor Congress chief Sonia Gandhi'', he said without refering to the Pathak Inquiry report in the Food-for-Oil scam and the suspension of the former External Affairs minister from the Congress.
''Mr Natwar Singh is my relative, but i am not acting as a madiator on anyone's behalf'', Capt Singh added.
