2 wounded in SP-BSP workers' clash
Hardoi, Aug 10 (UNI) Two people suffered bullet wounds in a clash between local Samajwadi Party and BSP workers in Mallawan town here today.
Police said SP leader Nand Kishore Tripathi and BSP leader Krishna Prakash Gupta, who are rivals, had a verbal duel.
Tripathi allegedly fired upon the latter to settle the score.
In retaliation, the victim's son raided Tripathi's residence and shot at him.
Meanwhile, both the critically wounded have been sent to Lucknow for medical assistance.
