Vajpayee lauds L'il Champs as splendid platform for talented kids

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) Accolades from several quarters have been pouring for this talent hunt show ever since it began airing on television a couple of months ago.

However, the appreciation that came the way of Zee TV's L'il Champs show from no less a person than former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee earlier this week would have warmed the hearts of its makers no end.

Earlier last week, the L'il champs show received an letter from the former Prime Minister who, while congratulating all contestants of the Zee TV show, described it as a splendid platform for talented children across the country.

''Talented children across the country are getting an opportunity to display their singing skills through the platform of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,'' Mr Vajpayee said in his letter to Zee TV, received at the office of the channel last week.

Terming the children performing on the show as immensely talented, Mr Vajpayee said, ''the children seem to have left no stone unturned in their devotion towards singing and music.'' Mr Vajpayee wished good luck to all contestants and said they had a bright future ahead.
