Two girls missing from a home in North 24 Parganas

Barrackpore, Aug 09 (UNI) At least two girls were reportedly missing from a home run by the Adhyapitha at Dakshineshwar in North 24 Parganas under Belgharia police station area since August 7.

A missing diary was lodged with police yesterday by the home authorities, police said here today.

However, the home authorities were reluctant to tell anything about the missing girls.

Police suspected foul play behind the incident.

The girls were inducted in the Adyapitha Balikashram few months back from Paschim Kodalia of New Barrackpore in North 24 Pargnas area and Subhaspalli under Krishnangar police station area in Nadia district.

Police did not even rule out the possibility of immoral trafficking.

The missing girls from such homes are not new while police started investigation in finding the girls, police said.
