Toulalan and Faubert earn first call-up for France

PARIS, Aug 9 (Reuters) Olympique Lyon midfielder Jeremy Toulalan and Girondins Bordeaux's Julien Faubert earned their first call-up for France today for next week's friendly international against Bosnia in Sarajevo.

Toulalan, 22, and Faubert, 23, were two key members of the team which reached the semi-final of the Under-21 European championships in Portugal in May.

Banking on young blood, coach Raymond Domenech left out veteran defender Lilian Thuram who has still to make up his mind about his international career.

Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet will get the number one spot back as Fabien Barthez is still without a club since he left Olympique Marseille in May.
