South Regional Artists' Camp from August 13-17

Udupi, Aug 9 (UNI) A five-day South Regional Artists' Camp will be held at Kanyana in Kundapura taluk from August 13 in memory of Pattabhirama Reddy, a well known Kannada film Director.

Pebeo, a well established colour company in France, had agreed to sponsor art materials for the camp, to be jointly organised by Artists Forum, Udupi, and 'Namma Bhoomi', a concern for working children, Forum President and noted artist U Ramesh Rao told newspersons here today.

He said eminent artists like S G Vasudev, J M S Mani and K N Ramachandran from Karnataka, Ajay Kumar and Satyapal from Kerala and Ponnumani Thomas from Pondicherry would participate in the camp.

Suma Ponnusamy, a renowned writer from Bangalore, would be the chief guest of the inaugural function and Vasudev would deliver the valedictory address on August 17.
