Over 100 police cases against Salim Gurjar
Bhind, MP, Aug 9 (UNI) Dreaded dacoit Salim Gurjar, who was today killed in a police encounter near Iayana village in Auraiyya district of Uttar Pradesh, was wanted by Madhya Pradesh police in over 100 cases.
Salim, who was shot dead along with his wife Gita Jatav, was synonymous with terror in both the states and carried a reward Rs 25,000 on his head.
More than 100 cases -- of loot, dacoity and attempt to murder -- were registered against the bandit.
The Salim Gurjar gang had over dozen female members, of which two were lodged in Gwalior jail.
