LJP-Left vow to dislodge NDA government in Bihar

Patna, Aug 9 (UNI) Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) chief and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today announced the resolve of his party to dislodge the Nitish Kumar government through a mass movement to be launched by the LJP and Left parties.

Addressing a rally here, the LJP leader slammed the NDA government in the state for its alleged failure on various fronts and vowed to organise a joint LJP-Left mass movement with a view to forcing the government's ouster.

'' We joined hands with even Mr Lalu Prasad's RJD in 2004 Parliamentary elections in the interest of keeping the BJP at bay in the Centre and we achieved the goal, '' he recalled.

'' Now time is ripe to dislodge the NDA from Bihar since Mr Nitish Kumar detracked from the pre-poll pledges and the countdown for the NDA government's downfall has started with today's massive support to the protest rally, '' Mr Paswan maintained.

The rally was organised jointly by the LJP and Left parties.
