Hooda visits Amarnath shrine; prays for peace in J
Srinagar, Aug 9 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhoopinder Singh Hooda paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Amarnath today on the Raksha Bandhan day, marking the end of the two-month-long pilgrimage which had started in June 11.
Mr Hooda performed the special 'puja' on the 'Shravana Purnima' and prayed for peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir.
Haryana Power and PWD Minister Vinod Sharma also accompanied him.
Earlier last evening here, Mr Hooda called on his Jammu and Kashmir counterpart Ghulam Nabi Azad and discussed matters pertaining to the development of the two states.
