Four killed as Van falls into gorge at Rudraprayag

Dehradun, Aug 9 (UNI) Four persons were killed when a Utility Van fell in a deep gorge at Rudraprayag district of Uttarabchal today.

According to Rudraprayag District Magistrate U D Choubey, a Utility Van heading towards Sari Village from Ukhimath fell into a 500 metre deep gorge at Chokhta Road, 4 km from Ukhimath, Rudraprayag, at about 15 hrs killing all the four passangers on the spot. The deceased persons have been identified as driver Deepak Panwar (26) from Bhatwari Village, Shishupal Singh (25), Murli Singh (36) both from Sari Village and Shiv Singh (27) from Charokhi village.
