Four crushed to death by train in South Goa

Panaji, Aug 9 (UNI) Four people, including a six-month-old baby, were run over and killed by a speeding train near Gudi-Paroda in South Goa early today.

Police have rushed the mutilated bodies to Hospicio Hospital at Margao for an autopsy.

The victims, suspected to be migrant labourers from Karnataka, included two men aged between 35 and 40, a woman between 30 and 35 years and an infant, police said.

The mishap occured at about 0100 hrs while the victims were walking on the railway track. It is yet to be ascertained which train mowed them, police added.
