Five displaced people injured in clash with forces
Bokaro, Aug 9 (UNI) Five protestors from the displaced families demanding employment in the Bokaro Steel Plant were injured following a clash between the agitators and security forces here today.
Two scribes also received mild injury in the incident.
The agitators were from the families displaced when the plant had been established four decades ago.
According to police, a morcha of the displaced demanding employment had gathered at the gate of the plant.
At around 1530 hrs, a vehicle of the security forces hit a couple on scooter near the Venue, which sparked altercation between the forces and protestors resulting in a clash.
Five people including morcha general secretary Gulab Chand were injured. Two scribes, present at the site, also received mild injuries.
The five were admitted to Bokaro general hospital.
