A dreaded Maoist and suspect of Jehanabad jail break arrested

Jehanabad, Aug 09 (UNI) Following a tip off, a dreaded Maoist and sub-zonal commander of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) Satyendra Singh alias Laden, along with his close associate Gojendra Yadav, was arrested from Salempur village under Koroma police outpost in Jehanabad district today.

Jehanabad Superintendent of Police Shahrukh Majid said Satyendra alias Laden suspected to be one of the chief architects of the infamous jailbreak at Jehanabad on November 13, 2005.

Laden was wanted by the Jehanabad, Patna, Arwal and Aurangabad police in over a dozen cases of extortions, blasts and killings.

He was concentrating mainly in Jehanabad and Masaurhi areas, the SP said adding Jogendra Yadav, a local squad member was also involved in several extremist cases besides being a prime accused in murder of former mukhiya of Bhenwar Panchayat Lala Singh in 2001.
