Woman with three weapons arrested

Kohima, Aug 08 (UNI) A woman was arrested at Khuzama check gate here for allegedly possessing arms and amunition .

Official sources yesterday informed the woman was traveling in a taxi from Manipur towards Nagalanda and was carrying one carbine, one pistol and a tommy gun with her.

The woman identified as Kimboy Hungsing from Topuo village under Senapati district of Manipur is suspected to be a cadre of the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA), police added.

"We are investigating the matter," police said.
