UP Governor, CM greet people on Raksha Bandhan

Lucknow, Aug 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar and Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav have greeted the people on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In his message, Mr Rajeswar said the festival fostered the spirit of immortal bond between brothers and sisters, ''which paves way for an amicable nation and society.'' Meanwhile, the CM observed that Raksha Bandhan celebrated the eternal love between brothers and sisters.

Mr Yadav also called upon the society at large to encourage women to progress in every field.
