Shop employee robbed of Rs 3,17,000

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (UNI) An employee of a fertiliser shop was robbed of Rs 3,17,000, when some miscreants allegedly threw chilly powder into his eyes and escaped with the money at Koti area here today.

Police said according to the employee Satyam Reddy, two miscreants came on a bike and snatched the money from him, while he was walking towards a shop in Sultan Bazar area to hand over the cash given by his owner.

The suspicion, however, has creeped in about the employee's version and an investigation was, underway, police added.
