HCC bags Rs 246.4 cr worth order in Uttaranchal
New Delhi, Aug 8 (UNI) Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) today said it has bagged a contract for the construction of a barrage and desilting chamber in Uttaranchal, at a cost of Rs Rs 246.4 crore.
Under the contract, Hindustan Construction will package for Loharinag Pala Hydro Electric Power Project (4x150MW) in the state of Uttaranchal, from NTPC Ltd New Delhi.
The project is to be completed by the end of 2009, a company statement said.
HCC executes the construction of technically complex and high value projects across segments such as transportation, power, marine projects, oil and gas pipeline constructions, irrigation and water supply, utilities and urban infrastructure.
The company has constructed hydroelectric, nuclear, thermal gas and diesel-based power projects, besides major dams, barrages, aqueducts and tunnels.
In Transportation, the company has made more than 300 road and rail bridges, expressways&roads and marine construction and over 100 environmental engineering projects.
