Govt. to file appeal against bail in Tantri case

Kochi, Aug 8 (UNI) The Kerala government will move the High Court tomorrow seeking cancellation of bail for Sobha John, first accused in the Sabarimala tantri attack case.

Director General of Prosecution P G Thampi said the granting of bail to Sobha John will adversely affect the investigation, especially in view of the fact that co-accused in the case were yet to be arrested and the material objects yet to be recovered.

Sobha John was granted bail by the Erankulam Chief Judicial Magistrate this afternoon.
