FACT discusses joint venture urea plant in Egypt

Kochi, Aug 8 (UNI) A Syrian delegation visited the Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) plant at Udyogamandal here today to discuss the setting up of a joint venture urea plant in Egypt.

A FACT release said that the delegation consisted of Mr Abdul Karim Adi, Mr Fawas Zaarour and Mr Zaki Manna from M/s Adi Establisment, Syria.

They visited the FACT plant for bilateral discussions regarding the installation of a urea plant at Egypt as a joint venture of FACT and Adi Establishment.

Both parties made detailed presentations of their capabilities.

Only preliminary discussions were held about the proposed project. Detailed discussions will continue, the release added.
