Bail pleas of sex racket accused deferred

Srinagar, Aug 8 (UNI) A local court here deferred till August 17 the bail applications of accused arrested by the CBI in connection with the sex racket case.

The hearing on the fresh bail applications was moved by senior IAS officer Mohammad Iqbal Khanday, DSP Mohammad Yousuf Mir and Naaz hotel owner Riyaz Ahmad Kawa, arrested by the CBI in connection with the sex racket case.

Principal District and session judge Mohammad yaqoob Mir heard the arguments from both the sides today and deferred the hearing till August 17.

District and Session court had earlier rejected the bail pleas of the accused who later moved the higher court.
