Youth shot by unidentified gunmen

Kohima, Aug 7: Unidentified gunmen shot at a youth and seriously injured him at Keziekie colony near last evening, police said.

Official sources said that the victim identified as one Kezhaletuo (21), who is presently residing at Keziekie colony, was approached by some unidentified youths, including a girl, all were in an inebriated state at his residence, asked him to provide drugs and when he said that he has no such substance, they started beating him.

Suddenly one of the miscreants pulled out his pistol and shot him at his right arm, which pierced through his chest. He was rushed to a private nursing home, where he was battling for his life.
