Two killed, 60 injured in Asom road accident

Silchar, Aug 7 (UNI) Two persons were killed and at least 60 injured, twelve of them seriously, when a truck carrying them skidded off the road in Asom's Karimganj district, police said today.

The overloaded vehicle was carrying about 100 persons, who were going to Kandigram from Chandrapur in Karimganj district of south Asom to witness a Kabadi match.

The seriously injured people have been admitted to Silchar Medical Collage Hospital.
