SSW starts exporting of wheels rims to PSA

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Steel Strips Wheels (SSW) today announced the commencement of export of wheels rims to France-based global car manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroen, (PSA).

The export orders for supplies to PSA will be made in the next four years.

The company said it has also received large export orders from PSA, representing the company's first exports as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of wheel rims to a major global car manufacturer.

In 2005, PSA Peugeot Citroen achieved sales of 3.39 million units of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, representing a 5.4 per cent share of the global market.
