Rupee opens strong by 10 paise at Rs 46.45/46/USD

Mumbai, Aug 7: Indian currency today opened strong by ten paise at Rs 46.45/46 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.55 per US Dollar, a trader in the money market said.

In the mid-morning trade, rupee was trading at Rs 46.46/47 per US Dollar.

The stock market, however, opened in the red by three points and is currently trading at 10,829.04 points down 34 points below the previous close.
