Rajasthan girl Bhakti wins gold in Zurich Marathon

Jaipur, Aug 7 (UNI) Swimming sensation Bhakti Sharma, who was in the news for crossing the English Channel recently, has won the gold medal in an international meet organised at Zurich (Switzerland).

Speaking to UNI over phone from Switzerland coach Mahesh Paliwal said Bhakti had won gold in the competition held in the 16-25 age group. He said she clocked 10.42 hrs to cover the distance of 26.5 km. The competition was held at the Sports Wheel Lake.
