Pradeep Kar, Karen Thomson on United Business board

Chennai, Aug 7 (UNI) India's well-known serial entrepreneurs and Microland Founder-Chairman and Managing Director Pradeep Kar and AOL UK Chairman Karen Thomson have joined the Board of the United Business Media as independent non-executive directors.

A press release here said Mr Pradeep Kar was a successful online media entrepreneur with a unique perspective on offshoring and had first hand views on the opportunities and challenges of doing business in India.

Ms Thomson had a wealth of insight and experience in online media, which she gained from spending more than a decade running one of Britain's leading online businesses.
