PM assures nation that no leakage will take place in future

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has expressed serious concern over the reported leakage of information from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

AGP leader in Lok Sabha S Sonwal told UNI that it was a ''very serious issue.'' ''If things move like this at the PMO, then our national security is at stake as all the important security- related information would be available at the PMO.'' The Prime Minister must clarify this to both the houses of the Parliament and the Government must set up an impartial and independent inquiry into this whole episode so that the real culprits could be brought to book, Mr Sonwal said, adding the Government must give an exemplary punishment to the culprits with the aim of discouraging any future attempt of this type.
