Parsvnath Developers to build hotel-cum-shopping mall in Goa

Panaji, Aug 7 (UNI) Parsvnath Developers Limited (PDL), a leading real estate developer in the country, is poised to build a world class hotel-cum-shopping mall in the heart of the city soon to give boost to tourism in Goa.

The state-owned Economic Development Corporate Ltd had earmarked 45,100 square mt of prime land at Patto Plaza in the city for the development of the commercial complex.

The company had succeeded in bidding the 12,290 sq mt land costing about Rs 55.4 crore, according to its chairman Pradeep Jain here today.

''The location of the plot is akin to Cannaught Place in Delhi or Nariman Point in Mumbai. Given Goa's status as the first choice for international tourists visiting India, we intend to convert this commercial project as a show piece of Parsvnath for global audiences,'' he said.

The company will build about 4,00,000 sq ft on this plot and plans to develop a shopping-mall-cum-hotel to attract tourists with a desire to enhance the charm of Goa, he added.

PDL is one of the leading real estate development companies in India with a pan-India presence. It is currently developing integrated townships in multiple towns, residential projects across the nation and commercial complexes including shopping malls, multiplexes and a hotel.

The company, with ambitious growth plans, has diversified into developing special economic zones, providing the platform for proper use of local talent and contribute to enhance economic growth of the country.

It also plans to foray into IT parks and resorts to capitalise on the growing requirements of tourism and information technology sectors, he added.
