Motherson Sumi Systems acquires firm in UK

New Delhi, Aug 7 (UNI) Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd today said it has purchased the business and assets of UK-based ASL Systems Ltd, engaged in the manufacture and supply of wiring harnesses and related products.

Motherson Sumi Systems did not disclose the value of purchase of ASL Systems through 100 per cent owned UK subsidiary, MSSL GB Ltd.

During the calendar year 2005, MSL reported a turnover of GBP 5.593 millions. Consequent upon purchase of business, the company now has manufacturing facilities of wiring harnesses in UK.
