Karat favours for peace dialogue with Pakistan
Amritsar, Aug 7: CPM general secretary Prakash Karat today said that the peace dialogue with Pakistan should continue.
''The peace process intiated by the two nations is in the interests of regional peace and prosperity'', he told mediapersons here.
However, Pakistan should be told firmly to halt its support to terrorists operating from its soil and all terrorist training camps should be dismantled, Mr Karat added.
When his attention was drawn to the steep rise in prices of essential commodities, he said that forward trading of such items particularly foodgrains should be halted to stablise the prices within the country. At times, exports create shortage within the country, he noted.
