Jockey Mahendra suspended from Aug 24 to Sept 8

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) The Stipendiary Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) have suspended Jockey D Mahendran from August 24 to September eight.

While the action was taken against the jockey from August 24 to September one for careless riding on his mount 'Time Is Life' in the Champion Jockey Cup (1,400 m) held on August Four, the suspension for the subsequent days was for excessive use of whip on his mount, a BTC release here said today.
