ITI-trained persons to get special concession in MP

Bhopal, Aug 7: Industrial Training Institute-trained persons in 19 districts of Madhya Pradesh would henceforth be provided a special concession of 50 per cent in the Rs 1,000 fee for getting registered as labour contractors for work related to extension of powerlines, electricity subcentres and other associated work.

Besides, the condition of having necessary experience for undertaking such work is also being relaxed for the category. The East Zone Power Distribution Company has issued an order to this effect to chief engineers of certain districts, an official release said here today.

Orders came into force in Jabalpur, Katni, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat, Sagar, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Tikamgarh, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Umaria and Anuppur, the release added.
