Escorts labourer crushed to death in factory

Bangalore, Aug 7 (UNI) A 28-year-old employee of a multinational company, Escorts, was crushed to death when his hand accidentally got trapped in a machine in the factory at Yelahanka new town here today.

Police said the victim, Srinivas, was working in the moulding unit to the factory when his hand got trapped in the conveyor belt of the machine.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the mishap was caused due to human error.

A case was registered against the Unit Supervisor. However, no arrest was made.
