Eight feared killed in Israeli strike on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug 7 (Reuters) Eight civilians were trapped under rubble after an Israeli air strike today destroyed their house in southern Lebanon, rescue workers said.

They said the eight, all members of one family, were stuck under the ruins of their home in Ghazzaniyeh. The workers said they were unable to try to rescue the family because of Israeli planes circling in the area and the fear of further airstrikes.
