Bomb blast in Mahur, six injured

Guwahati, Aug 7 (UNI) The pre-Independence Day mayhem continued unabated in Asom for the fourth consecutive day with a bomb explosion at Mahur injuring six people in North Cachar hills district today.

Official sources said here that the blast was triggered by a grenade, a signature style of the ULFA.

As the blast took place in the market place, six people were injured.

The injured were shifted to the Mahur civil hospital.
