Bomb blast in Mahur, five injured

Guwahati, Aug 07 (UNI) The pre-Independence Day mayhem continued unabated in Asom for the fourth consecutive day with a bomb explosion at Mahur in North Cachar hills district today.

Official sources said here that the blast was triggered by a grenade, a signature style of the ULFA.

As the blast took place in the market place, six people received injuries.

The extent of wounds was not yet known, but the injured were shifted to the Mahur civil hospital.
