5 members of family murdered

Mahoba, Aug 7 (UNI) Five members of a family including three minors, were murdered over a family dispute in Ajnar area here early today.

Police said six miscreants armed with firearms and sharp-edged weapons raided a dwelling in Dikria village and killed house owner Damru, a widow Lalawati and three children -- Ramkishan, Ramkishore and Sukhwati.

Suspicion has fallen on Damru's younger son Dharmapal, who has been living in Dilhari village of Madhya Pradesh for the last three yrs.

He is also accused of murdering his elder brother Shyam Singh.

Dharmapal alongwith his family is absconding for the last three days.

Police Superintendent Pradeep Chandra said the murder accused would be booked under National Security Act.
