LG posts sales of 1 lakh monitors in July
New Delhi, Aug 6 (UNI) Riding on aggressive marketing strategy and localised reseller schemes, LG Electronics India (LGEIL) has registered sales of one lakh monitors in the month of July.
''LG has achieved a sale of 1,00,000 monitors in July and the channel's contribution to this has been immense. We would like to assure that LG shall continue the current momentum and ensure better channel profitability,'' LGEIL General Manger (Sales and Marketing), IT products, R Manikandan said.
The company has eight models of LCD and five models of CRT monitors in the market. It recently launched an LCD Monitor with 'F -Engine' technology which corrects and enhances the picture to make it look closer to real life images.
LG has a 35 per cent and 23 per cent market share in the CRT and LCD market. It plans to enhance its market share with strengthened product portfolio and more channel-friendly schemes.
LGEIL, a wholly-owned susidiary of South Korea-based LG Electronics, achieved a turnover of Rs 7,500 crore in 2005.
