Kolkata experiences dry weather after a spell of rain

Kolkata, Aug 06 (UNI) Kolkata today experienced a very bright and sunny day as there had been no rains since morning.

Met officials said today was a dry day with few bouts of rainfall in the southern part of the city.

However, the heat of the sun did not affect the temperature which remained a maximum of 29 degree Celsius and minimum 24 degree Celsius.

The relative humidity was 97 per cent, but overall the weather was quite pleasant today.
