Koderma by-election to decide the fate of Munda Govt:Marandi
Jamshedpur, Aug 6 (UNI) Former Jharkhand chief minister and president of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) Babulal Marandi today said the Koderma by-elections will be crucial as it might decide the fate of the Arjun Munda government in the state.
By-election in Koderma was necessitated following Mr Marandi's resignation from the member of parliament of the BJP.
Mr Marandi also resigned from the primary membership of the party to strengthen the JVM and became the president of the organization.
However, the JVM is yet to be announced as a political outfit.
Talking to the meida persons at Seraikela in the contiguous Seraikela-Kharsawan district Mr Marandi said the mid-term poll in the state was imminent after the by election.
Mr Marandi, who arrived Seraikela to attend the workers' meeting of the Kolhan unit of the JVM, squarely blamed the chief minister for corruption, lack of development and naxalite problem in the state.He said a fair psychosis had gripped in the mind of the people during the BJP-led NDA government's regime.
The JVM chief also lambasted the opposition for not playing its role to 'expose' the 'misdeeds' of the state government. He alleged that the opposition was also a part of the ruling government.
JVM Chief General Secretary Stiphen Marandi and other hosts of frontline JVM leaders from the Kolhan region attended the meeting.
