Heavy rains forecast in Guj, Konkan, Goa, M'wada, madhya Mah

Pune, Aug 6 (UNI) The South West monsoon has been vigorous in madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha and active over Gujarat and Konkan and Goa, while it has been subdued over Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka and at many places in east Rajasthan.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, north interior Karnataka, Kerala and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Heavy to very heavy rains have occurred at most places in Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra and at a few places in west Rajasthan.

Heavy rains have occurred at most places in coastal Karnataka.

Extremely heavy raifall has occurred at most places in Marathwada.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Gangetic West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat and at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Orissa, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana and at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Saurashtra and Kutch, north interior Karnataka and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Punjab, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradeshm south interior Karnataka, Kerala and at mainly dry weather prevailed over the Haryana, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
