Godavari water level continues to rise

Rajahmundry, Aug 6 (UNI) Water level in river Godavari is still in alarming position and it is slowly rising, according to Central Water Commission Officials.

Talking to UNI, officials said the flood level stood at 64.90 feet at Bhadrachalam and added that it was all likely to move up.

Water level at Dowleswaram barrage, at 0800 hours, stood at 21.90 feet, which is three feet more than the danger level. The outflow into the sea is estimated at 25.93 lakh cusecs.
