Bolivia's Morales says Castro has 'recovered'

SUCRE, Bolivia, Aug 6 (Reuters) Cuban leader Fidel Castro has ''recovered'' from stomach surgery, Bolivian President Evo Morales said.

Castro has ''recovered, but what is now lacking is that he return to running the country,'' Morales said in a speech to Bolivian lawmakers.

Morales did not elaborate. Cuban Vice President Carlos Lage, who is visiting Bolivia, was in the audience as Morales spoke.
