Blair holds talks on Lebanon with Bush, Putin

LONDON, Aug 6 (Reuters) British Prime Minister Tony Blair spoke today with U S President George W Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin on securing rapid agreement on the U N resolution on Lebanon, a spokesman said.

''The prime minister has had long phone conversations with Bush and with Putin about how to secure the maximum support for the U.N.

resolution and to get agreement as soon as possible to that resolution,'' a spokesman for Blair said. ''He will speak to (French President Jacques) Chirac later today.'' REUTERS LL RS2205
