'Best of French Cinema 2004' festival in capital
New Delhi, Aug 6 (UNI) Isabelle Huppert-starrer 'Sisters Annoyed' is part of a seven-strong 'Best of the French Cinema 2004' festival beginning in the capital this week.
Huppert acts as an elegant 38-year-old, who shares her home with her younger author-sister for three days, in the 2004 film directed by Alexandra Leclere.
'Les Revenants' (They Came Back) by Robin Campillo, an unusual story of the exodus of the dead from cemeteries and back into life leading to a population explosion, opens the festival on Friday.
The other films in the package include 'Work Hard, Play Hard' by Jean-Marc Moutout, the story of a couple who are confused about their work that would lead to retrenchment of the workers of a factory, and 'A Tout de Suite' (A Right Now), by Benoit Jacquot, about the relationship between a woman and her bank robber lover.
The festival, which has screenings every Friday till September-end, also include 'L'esquive' (The Game of Love and Chance) by Abdellatif Kechiche, ''Cause Toujours' (Mice and Mite) by Jeanne Labrune, 'Vipere au Poing' (Viper in the Fist) by Philippe Borca and 'Violence des echanges en milieu tempere) by Jean-Marc Moutout.
