''Yaari dosti awards'' to be telecast tomorrow on star gold

Mumbai, Aug 5 (UNI) ''Yaari dosti awards'', a unique show that awards stars on their performances as friends will be telecast tomorrow on Star Gold on friendship day.

The awards explore the meaning and significance of friendship in films. It will also give viewers a lowdown on reel and real life Bollywood friendships with a dash of humour, a release here said.

The semi serious awards for performances in films and the periphery of filmmaking will be an experience to enjoy, you might even identify with a few characters as on one hand you will see how stars in their roles have kept friendship over love or their duty above dosti. On the other hand some have pretended to be friends and some friends have turned foes.

The voice-over driven show will feature the most popular Bollywood voices mimicked to perfection. The awards have some interesting categories and nominations which are : ''Yaara Dildaara Award''-will the hit old pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman who will take on the new jodis Tushaar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor or Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao and Zayed Khan.

''Yaar Gadaar Award'' will be given to the biggest ''gadaar'' among Naseerudin Shah from ''sarfarosh'', Aishwarya Rai from''Khakhee'', Akshay Kumar in ''Ajnabee'' or Shah Rukh Khan in ''Kabhie Ha Kabhie Na''? ''Yaar Qurbaan Award'' will Chunky Pandey's sacrifice for Anil Kapoor overshadow Chitrangadha Singh and Shiny Ahuja's or will Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor overshadow Shilpa Shetty sacrifices for Raveena Tandon in ''pardesi babu''. Then there is ''We are Just friends award'' which will prove to be just good friends between Aftab and Natasha, Jimmy Shergill and Preity Zinta, Sanjay Suri and Rinke Khanna or Juhi Chawla, Anil Kapoor and Govinda.

In ''Tu chor main sipahi award'', will Sanjay Dutt and Jeetendra be fast enough to beat their competition Akshay Kumar and Nagarjuna Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.

''Katilana Award'' will given to the most gruesome murderer among Natasha, the team on ''Kaante'', Urmila Matondkar or Raveena Tandon.
